SCULPT & CONTOUR

Refine contours, address temporary puffiness and enhance the appearance of body definition.

Brazilian Lymphatic Techniques | Maderotherapy

A combination of Brazilian-inspired lymphatic techniques and traditional wood therapy, bringing together hands-on sculpting movements and specially designed wooden tools to work with the body's natural contours.

This is a more targeted, sculptural approach to bodywork, with a focus on areas where you might like to see a little more definition, less puffiness or a smoother-looking appearance.

It's a treatment that feels quite different from a traditional massage - more active and purposeful, but still very much about the experience of being worked on and taking time for yourself.

The Brazilian-inspired techniques also bring a focus on lymphatic flow and fluid-related puffiness, which can contribute to a more refined appearance and a feeling of lightness.

How does it work?

Using a combination of rhythmic manual movements and maderotherapy, the treatment works across areas such as the abdomen, waist, hips, thighs, legs and arms.

The wooden tools introduce a different dimension to the massage, with varied movements and pressure to work across the body in a way that hands alone cannot quite replicate.

The sculpting approach can be extended to the face, with gentle facial lymphatic techniques and contouring movements around the face, jawline and neck.

Whether your focus is the body, the face or a little of both, the treatment is adapted around you and the areas you'd particularly like to work on.

How many sessions will I need?

Every appointment begins with a conversation about what you'd like to focus on. The treatment is then shaped around your individual needs, combining hands-on techniques with the wooden tools where appropriate.

You can choose a focused treatment for selected areas, a more comprehensive full-body session or an extended experience incorporating the face.

As a  guideline, one session may offer temporary results that you may wish to experience for a special occasion such as a wedding or holiday.  For longer lasting results we generally recommend a treatment course of 4 weekly sessions.

Your first session allows us to understand your body’s current needs, after which a personalised treatment plan can be recommended if ongoing support would be beneficial.

Shadow

I had my second lymphatic drainage massage today with Sacha. I’m finding it a very beneficial treatment to have as I have various conditions which cause me to retain water. It’s also helping with inflammation. Sacha is hugely informative and extremely knowledgeable in what she does. A genuine, kind human being with a great interest in what she does and in helping people.
